Colleges use a variety of tools in the process of admitting students.  Among the tools they regularly use are the SAT or ACT tests provided by the College Board  or American College Testing Services.  These tests are administered on different dates throughout the academic year at local public high schools.

Students at Cumberland Christian School are allowed and encouraged to take the PSAT during the fall of the sophomore year.  Students at CCS are required to take the PSAT during their junior year regardless of the diploma program they are pursuing.

It is recommended by the high school guidance office and college admission professionals that the best time for students to take the SAT is during the spring of the junior school year.

Students who are working on the college prep or honors diploma are required to take either the SAT or ACT before graduation.

The school code for Cumberland Christian School is  311557.  This applies to all College Board tests and the ACT.
