Suggestions and Ideas for Improving Study Skills

Study Skills are learned and developed through practice and experience.  The process of improving these skills is a continuing process through high school, college, and beyond.  With experience comes the opportunity to share the wisdom learned through the process.  The links provided below represent a collection of available suggestions drawn from a variety of sources, particularly college study assistance web sites.  The challenges of learning to be efficient in studying is a concern that all students deal with and the suggestions provided apply not only to college students, but to all students at every level.  Please note that many of the links are available in a PDF format and must be used with the Adobe Reader.  The Reader is available as a free download on the CCS homepage.  The material provided here is similar to material provided by other schools and colleges and can be easily found using the standard search engines.

Assistance with questions regarding MLA format and concerns are available at Purdue University Writing Lab  or Norwood High School Research Paper Handbook
