Unit 1:  God Creates His World

Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 1:27a  So God created man in His own image.

Romans 3:23  For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

 

Unit 2:  God Keeps His Promises

Genesis 6:8  But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Romans 4:3  For what does the Scripture say?, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."

Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

 

Unit 3:  God Protects His People

Isaiah 26:3-4  You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord

forever for in the Lord Jehovah, is everlasting strength.

Psalm 56:3  Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

Genesis 50:20a  But as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.

 

Unit 4:  Christmas:  God Sends HIs Son

Luke 1:37  For with God nothing will be impossible.

Luke 2:11  For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

 

Unit 5:  God Guides His People

Exodus 20:3 - 17  The 10 Commandments

                           1.You shall have no other gods before Me.

                           2. You shall not make for yourself any carved image.

                           3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

                           4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

                           5. Honor your father and your mother.

                           6. You shall not murder.

                           7. You shall not commit adultery.

                           8. You shall not steal.

                           9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

                          10. You shall not covet.

 

 Unit 6:  God Rules Over His People

Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that whilde we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I Samuel 16:7c  for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

I John 4:7  Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God: and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

 

Unit 7:  God Cares For His People

Matthew 22:36 - 39  Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?  Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it:  You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

 

 Unit 8: Easter:  God Offers His Son

John 3:16-17  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIm might be saved.

 

Unit 9:  God Strengthens His People

Matthew 28:19-20  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

 

Unit 10:  God Speaks with His People

Jeremiah 33:3  Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
