In January 2008, Cumberland Christian School (CCS) was awarded Dual Accreditation by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and School (MSA). This re-accreditation signifies our continued compliance with the highest professional standards in Christian and secular education. CCS first received accreditation in 1998 for a ten-year term. The current re-accreditation certifies CCS for an additional five-year term and includes a commitment to a special project in the areas of math and science instruction.
Upon receiving word of the re-accreditation, CCS Headmaster stated, "We're very pleased to again be awarded accreditation. The process is one of examining every part of the school and assuring that we meet high standards. In the process we have learned so much! In the next five years, we are committed to a major project that will continue to improve our ability to deliver excellent Christian education to our students."
