Academic Excellence for 3- & 4-Year-Olds

The HEARTS & HANDS LEARNING CENTER at Cumberland Christian School is a setting in which 3- and 4-year-old children grow in Christ and thrive academically and socially.

Learning is facilitated through themed units and an variety of hands-on activities.  Bible stories are taught each day.  Music, as well as Large and Small Motor Skills are incorporated into academic learning on a daily basis.  Children are taught in full group, small group, and individual settings.  Thoughtfully, every activity has a purpose.   

Classroom centers include:  Kitchen/House, Dramatic Play, Blocks, Art, Table Toys/Games, Computers, and Library.

There are several fun days throughout the year:  Gingerbread Day, Winter Olympics Day, and on the last day of school, the Pre-K 3 and 4 students have a Step-Up Program.
